Where are Ethicalness and Humanity ?

Side note: I am currently a full time student at the University of Malta studying Maltese and communication Studies. In the coming weeks i will be analysing current news on a local level. Meaning this although we live in  tiny country; Malta is full of ongoing and exciting news.

Omar Rababah posted a video giving his greatest condolences to Akram's family and friends, especially to his 1 year old daughter. At the same time he expressed anger and rage towards the lack of humanity portrayed by different media houses when uploading a video of Akram's last minutes hanging on a rope while struggling to save his life. In his video Rababah adressed the Media and individuals who shared this content, while imposing a serious number of questions such as, What was their rationale ? Did they use this video in order to attract more viewers and ultimately help them gain more popularity in order to sell more adverts ? Does money come first over everything in life including ethicalness and justice ?

Ultimately Rababah's message was to enhance awareness and raise sensitivity. He argued that the main concern should be for the authorities to take action for future purposes, rather than  blaming the victim for lack of safety precaution. This behaviour is unacceptable as humanity is of utmost importance and should be respected. Omar Rababah's ended his video by genuinely asking for this video to be put down and give out a public apology to his family, as no condolence can console them after such a misfortune.
